For the first time, African travellers have liberal access to over half the continent, the 2019 Africa Visa Openness Index published by the African Union Commission and African Development Bank, reveals. For art lovers, the recent launch of Leonardo Opera Omnia Exhibition undoubtedly welcome news. The exhibition that will be running from 19th November 2019 to 5th January 2020 at the Uganda National Museum in Kitante has caused quite the rave. A one James Muhindo couldn’t take the disappointment at arriving and alighting off a Uganda Airlines flight without tasting rolex. Even worse, there was a sweet aroma of the rolex, one of the favorites of the Ugandan street foods, but non to be eaten. Not that it had to be a whole rolex, he laments that at least it should have been half a rolex!

Yes, it was gold for an athlete but the fever of excitement that swept through all the team Uganda Athletes was nothing short of amazing. “…I know in Uganda they are going to celebrate for a full week!” an elated Halima Nakaayi told journalists. And indeed the country, at least the lightening-speed-like social-media section of the country did.
