The future we see
They say the best time to plant a tree is long gone, it's in the past. But they also say it is today! Starting the discussion about environment, conservation and tourism, the love for country is pertinent. But most with importantly, starting it with the little ones whilst they still are impressionable is everything.
The country like the world is losing a large chunk of it's forest cover, we read of climate change and the havoc it's leaving behind. Farmers can't plan for seasons anymore; it's either rain during the dry season on drought during the rainy season. Our city is immersed in foods as soon as the rains fall for an hour.
Do the little ones understand what's going on? Do they know about the role of humans in this predicament? What I the conversation we are having we them whenever nature riots against us? That said, have you helped them plant a tree?
